Product description
Alert and ready for anything, the Dalmatian is easy recognized from it's black and white spotted coat. The ancestors of this beautiful dog were used to guard the borders of Dalmatia (present-day Croatia). Because Dalmatians are compatible with horses, they were trained to trot alongside and in front of carriages, and were used to guard horse-drawn fire engines. You will still find Dalmatians in many firehouses today.
